Next Generation Navigation (VHS) The extremely accurate and reliable Global Positioning System (GPS) is revolutionizing aviation navigation. This FlighTime presentation explores the wide ranging applications of GPS in both the VFR and IFR environments. After an overview of GPS basics, you'll follow along on a three leg cross-country flight. On the first leg, you'll discover how to use GPS to help in preflight flight planning and during your VFR flights.
