FITS FAA Industry Training Standards AA Industry Training Standards (FITS) was constructed by the FAA to better familiarize pilots for the challenges of flying technically advanced aircraft. Rather than just performing maneuvers, FITS teaches pilots to think and respond using real-flight scenarios. Topics discussed include: Risk Management, Aeronautical Decision Making, Single Pilot Resource Management, and Situational Awareness.
